Our New Community Centre

Autism Gold Coast’s quest for a ‘place to call home’ for families connected by autism to gather together began in 2003. Over the years, a small group of dedicated members of the group have remained focused on bringing this to fruition. Strategic planning, submission writing and fundraising have continued in the background whilst the services of Autism Gold Coast have steadily expanded in response to the growing number of families seeking our help.

February 2015 saw the completion of the $185,000 renovation of the former caretaker’s cottage in Cascade Gardens parklands in Broadbeach. We sincerely thank the generosity of those who have supported our endeavours to bring about this vital community facility for the Autism Spectrum Disorder community and community partners. We are particularly appreciative of the guidance and strategic project management that Russell Peacock from Progress Technology provided us with.
