Early Intervention Services – HCWA

Autism Gold Coast Inc, as lead agency in the Autism Gold Coast Early Intervention Service Consortium, offers early intervention services for eligible children aged 0-7 years under the federal government’s Department of Social Services: Helping Children with Autism package.

We offer early intervention services with experienced therapists who provide a range of best practice interventions and approaches to service delivery, within the disciplines of Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Behaviour Management, Counselling, ABA Therapy and Music Therapy.

Therapists deliver high quality early intervention services using the following interventions:

• Behavioural interventions – application of learning theory and skill development;
• Developmental and social learning interventions – building relationships and development of social emotional capacities;
• Therapy-based interventions – communication and social development or sensory motor development; and
• Family-based interventions – working with families to develop skills in working with their children.

Autism Gold Coast Early Intervention Service provides families and carers with access to a range of Department of Social Services funded services from our consortium therapists listed in the table below.
